ABOUT ME

My name is Tessa Young and I live in Phalaborwa, Limpopo, right next to the Kruger Park

  • MY LIFE

About me

I am ten years old. I own a museum in Phalaborwa in Limpopo.

I love fossils and rocks and gemstones and crystals and all the treasures that belong in a museum.

I love animals. I have lots of dogs and cats in my life. Tiger is my museum cat. I also have three chickens.

When I grow up I want to be a paleontologist or a geologist.

  • IT’S A GREAT JOB

Working in my museum

I work in my museum in the afternoons after school and on the weekends. It is the best fun and there is always something to do in it. I also work in my museum when visitors come to the museum.

  • THE GALAXY ROOM

My museum office

My museum office is in the Galaxy Room which is next to my museum. It is full of all my assistant’s astronomy stuff and is a really cool room. I also love the stars and own a Meade telescope named Tintin.

It is a very nice place to work on my museum laptop. I also study my geology and dinosaur books in there.

  • SHE HELPS ME A LOT

My assistant

I have an assistant. Her name is Susan. She helps me with all the science.

She designed my website. We did the text together and also the images.

She also makes the appointments for visitors to visit my museum and looks after the museum money.
